Two sisters spent two weeks in Paris. The locals obviously hated Americans - no matter where they went, they were subject to rude behavior from waiters, store clerks, pedestrians, etc. After a while it started to irritate them.

One day, in Paris, one sister went shopping. She entered a store and started looking around. She was the only customer in the store. As she was looking through the clothes on the rack, a clerk hurriedly approached her and very abruptly asked if he could help her.

The sister was used to this bad treatment by now and she politely declined his help. She continued to look at the clothes. Then she noticed that every clerk in the store was staring at her. Defiantly, she continued to look through the clothes. When she could take this treatment no longer, she turned on her heels, with her head held high, and left the shop.

As she left, she noticed that the sign on the store read "Dry Cleaners".

Psychological Test

It is a story about a girl. While at the funeral of her mother, she met a man whom she did not know. She thought he was amazing, her dream guy, and she fell in love with him but never asked for his number and could not find him after the funeral.

A few days later the girl killed her sister.

Question:
What was her motive in killing her sister?
Give this some thought before you scroll down

Answer:
She was hoping that the guy would appear at the sister's funeral.

If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a test that a famous American psychologist used to test if one has the same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took this test and answered it correctly.

If you didn't answer correctly, good for you.

If you DID answer correctly, please let me know so I can take you off my e-mail list.

Joke#2,132

A local United Way office realized that it had never received a donation from the town's most successful lawyer. The person in charge of contributions called him to persuade him to contribute.

"Our research shows that out of a yearly income of at least $500,000, you give not a penny to charity. Wouldn't you like to give back to the community in some way?"

The lawyer mulled this over for a moment and replied, "First, did your research also show that my mother is dying after a long illness, and has medical bills that are several times her annual income?"

Embarrassed, the United Way rep mumbled, "Um...no."

"or that my brother, a disabled veteran, is blind and confined to a wheelchair?"

The stricken United Way rep began to stammer out an apology but was interrupted,

"or that my sister's husband died in a traffic accident," the lawyer's voice rising in indignation, "leaving her penniless with three children?!"

The humiliated United Way rep, completely beaten, said simply, "I had no idea..."

Joke#2,135

A sick man turned to his doctor, as he was preparing to leave the examination room and said, "Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side."

Very quietly, the doctor said, "I don't know."

"You don't know? You, a Christian man, do not know what is on the other side?"

The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other side of which came a sound of scratching and whining, and as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.

Turning to the patient, the doctor said, "Did you notice my dog? He's never been in this room before. He didn't know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear. I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing...I know my Master is there and that is enough."

Joke#2,136

According to writer, Jerry Chin, "When it rains on your parade, look up rather than down. For without the rain, there would be no rainbow."

Every now and then, our daily existence may experience an unexpected storm of circumstances that pelts us with torrential rain, bolts of lightning and claps of thunder. And more often than not, it usually occurs on those days when we forgot to bring an umbrella.

Sometimes our spirits are dampened by these occasional showers of relationship, work or life issues. And just when it seems as if the dark clouds will never blow over, the sun finally breaks through and shines its rays of hope, encouragement and peace.

Whenever you find yourself weathering a professional, personal or emotional storm, look to the heavens and seek enlightenment. For it is only after overcoming life's heaviest rainfalls that we are truly able to appreciate the phenomenal appearance of the rainbow as it arches its brilliant colors across the sky.

Country entertainer and actress, Dolly Parton, explains it best when she so eloquently stated, "If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with a little rain."

Joke#2,145

Sir Isaac Newton may have discovered the laws of gravity, but here's a parallel set of laws that govern moms and dads.

A child's behavior will improve in proportion to the distance she is away from the parent.

Two is equal to two, except when referring to time. Two minutes of tantrum lasts 20 times as long as two minutes of quiet time.

The choice of a pre-schooler's best friend corresponds directly to the distance the friend lives from your house.

A child's enjoyment of a popular entertainment will be inversely proportionate to the parent's enjoyment.

The chance of a surprise visit by your parents-in-law is directly proportional to the size of the mess in your home.

A child will always eat exactly what she has loved for the past year-unless it is the only food in the fridge.

The ease with which a toddler acquires the ability to say a word increases with its likelihood to embarrass a sailor.

You know you work for the government when:

The process becomes more important than the product
You don't see anything wrong with attending a meeting on a subject you know nothing about
You feel you contributed to the meeting just by being there
You stop raising issues/problems because you know you will be the one answering them.
You fly first class across the country to attend a conference with 100+ people to discuss the fact that the project does not have enough money
You work for an acronym, on an acronym, and your job title is an acronym
You understand the rationalization of an acronym composed of acronyms
You know that the location of a meeting is directly related to its importance.

"No, I had to stop drinking years ago," the homeless man replied.

"Will you use it to buy lottery tickets instead of buying food?" the man asked.

"No, I don't gamble" the homeless man said. "I need everything I can get just to stay alive."

"Will you spend the money on fish bait instead of food?" the man asked.

"Are you NUTS!" replied the homeless man. "I haven't fished in 20 years!"

"Will you use the money to buy a ticket to the Chiefs game?" the man asked.

"Are you crazy?" the homeless man replied. "I wouldn't pay to see folks beat upon other folks. I have seen enough of that on the streets."

"Well," said the man, "I'm not going to give you the two dollars. Instead, I'm going to take you home for a terrific dinner cooked by my wife."

The homeless man was astounded. "Won't your wife be furious with you for doing that? I know I'm dirty, and I probably smell pretty bad."

The man replied, "Hey, man, that's okay! I just want her to see what a man looks like who's given up beer, ball games, gambling, and fishing."

Not many people know that Edison was a avid fisherman. He usually included some trout fishing in his infrequent vacations.

During one such trip to the west he was befriended by an Indian tribe. They provided free room and board, as well as expert fishing guides for his stay. On his first night he discovered that the only sanitary facility was an old-fashioned outhouse. To make things worse it had no light even though the village had electricity in the homes.

As a thank-you gift for their kindnesses, Edison purchased the necessary materials and personally installed lighting in the Indians privvy.

He thus became the first person to wire a head for a reservation.

"Calling Aunt Sarah."

"How could you have called Aunt Sarah ?" I asked. "You don't even know her number."
